  So, essentially if you have more than one $50 vouchers from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/194504 you can make more than one transaction and save more.

  Hey all, just letting you know that I book Hotel accommodation (greater than $1000) through Virgin Redeem Hotel page and I got $100 cashback email instantly! So you don't need to book a flight. Also earned Triple Velocity points which is a bonus. I also used $50 voucher from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/194504 which also worked.

  So total discount is roughly $175.
  Also note Virgin charges a credit card surcharge :(
