I like Bose for one reason… when I can get used systems or components for a bargain price (or even better, free!) I can repair & restore it then sell it on to 'brand zombies' for heaps! I have two Acoustimass systems in my Workshop right now just waiting for the final touches before I flip them for major profit but apart from that it's pretty average gear and I never understood what the fuss was about TBH.

I recently researched speakers and found out about limitations of optical, HDCP 2.2 and other things. The amount of Audio products now incompatible is crazy high.
None of that applies to this deal, since this is just speakers.
Optical has been limited for a decade now, nothing new there.
HDCP 2.2 -might- cause problems if 4K Blu-ray takes off, but right now I don't think anyone has actually been affected by it.
