GymBetter (Medibank gym pass program) removes Fitness First, Adds YMCA, Fernwood

Just a quick PSA about the GymBetter program with Medibank (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/178813)

They have just removed Fitness First from their program.

This significantly reduces the value of the program.

They have added YMCA and Fernwood as replacements, but Fernwood is women only and YMCA don't have many locations compared to FF.

Obviously FF were losing too much membership money from people switching over to this program so have dropped out.

So quick summary:

Fitness First will leave the GymBetter network as of 31 May 2015

still working for me in my version of the android app, is FF just not accepting passes at the doors?

  They'll drop off the program at the end of the month. I have updated original post to make that clear.
