That's actually reasonably cheap for quality ones. I've bought some at 10c each and most were duds… just like most of my girlfriends, ZING!

Really? Both performed great for me =p

    • I too have bought cheap coin batteries from eBay.

      Last paying some U$1.67 for 10 CR2016s delivered. - some 18 - 19c each.
I don't know about longevity - but have used 4.
      Tested a fresh 3.3V.

IIRC K-Mart may also stock cheap house brands.

I last bought a 3 pack of 220mAh CR2032 coin batteries from ALDI.
      (Dec 2014 for a Use By 8/2018.)
      One used to date.

Trusting ALDI I haven't tested the open circuit voltage ;-)
Have written $1.35 on the pack - possibly a [unit] price for individual batteries??

I've had some dud girlfriends, but they all cost me a lot more than 10c

  • Thanks OP…Bought one pack

  • Price seems alright. Similar to those Panasonic ones on ebay.

  • thanks OP that should last me a few motherboards

$3.99 for 5 brand new Maxell CR2032 3v Lithium delivered on eBay

    Made in Japan. 2021 expiry.

Dunno how Maxell compares to Energizer but I haven't had any problems with them.

    • I'd rather go for DSE unless eBay is 1/2 the price, lot of risk with quality

Are these panasonic ones any good? I searched cr2032 on DS's website:

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/batteries/panasonic-cr2032-lithi…
    1 for $0.54

Might be cheaper if u just needed 1 to plug into something.

No more stock for CR2025 for Click and Collect, and delivery at $7.95 kills it for me… :(

  • How do these compare to something like this? IKEA's price is an every day price.

    http://www.ikea.com/aa/en/catalog/products/80291156/

    PLATTBOJ 8 pack $2.95

  • DSE are also doing the CR1616 cheap ($1.95, RRP $4.95) which my car remote requires. Grabbed one as mine is limping along :)

  • I use this type of battery for my cars 2way alarm remote and found energizers last the longest.

Ive tried many of the cheaper brands in the past and i found i had to keep changing the battery every month or two, where as energizers would easily last twice as long.

Ive also tried the Dicksmith branded one and it lasted less than a month lol. Bloody rip.

Please, please, please keep these away from your young children.

  • Thanks a lot. Bought one for my dying camry 07 remote key

  • Thanks, bought one too, just recently bought Panasonic off ebay for like $4, but this is a deal. Probably backup for my gym watch.

It's only 5 bucks, worth to give it a try to find out yourself

I believe you're looking for CR1632, not this type. I could be wrong though, open the fob up and see the code.

  • Sweet. Use about 1 in a year for my Canon TC cable release.

'Extremely durable, it has found favour in compact devices that require the exact properties exhibited by the CR2032 cells – durability and longevity'

Surely, durability and longevity are properties any good battery should offer a device. That's just lazy marketing.

  • My Mazda 3 car keys need CR1620 would this work if any one know?

  • +2

Lol, it drops to 4.76 today.

    • but sold out pretty much everywhere in Perth. glad i got in early yesterday :)

This 2-pack at $2.60 seems to have more stock:

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/batteries/energizer-cr2032-lithi…

  • I just got a call from Brighton store saying they have no stock (stock levels on the system were wrong), and that they would be reversing my purchase.

    • LOL i came here expecting to read this. I bought two CR1620's for $2.22 last week for click and collect sydney city and after following up multiple times was informed they were out of stock and would reverse my order. I was like ummmm no i paid for them and i actually need them for my car keys. Anyway, long story short, call the dick smith online phone number (it's an overseas call centre, be patient with them). If you really need the item they will post it out, free of charge. They just need to confirm with the store first. I got them to do this and it arrived 12 hours later. It was rather impressive. My car keys work great now!
