The black friday sale was $11 off RRP. It is normally cheaper than that in stores.
Keep your eye on Myer and JB Hi-fi, they have 10% off Apple products every once in awhile, they might repeat the sale closer to Christmas to try and induce people into giving Apple products as gifts.
Apple Refurb store is and always will be the cheapest place for ipods.
Although "Refurbished" I imagine most are open box returns, as they're typically available almost immeduiately after a new revision is launched. They come with full warranty.

You just missed the annual Black Friday sale at the online Apple store. I would suggest waiting until December and seeing which store offers the best bonus item with the ipod (maybe a free dock, wall charger or iTunes card). Search for "ipod nano" at http://www.lasoo.com.au/ Harvey Norman are offering a bonus rechargeable speaker at the moment.
