Anyone know if there's a way to block eBay's purchase suggestions on their homepage?
I know I can bookmark the "My eBay" page, but it's quicker for me type. (Just typing "eb" auto-fills www.ebay.com.au in the url field.)

It was probably a typo. Once I was trying to type "Gone With the Wind paperback" and accidentally typed "full leather bondage outfit with gimp mask". Easy mistake! And now eBay won't let me forget it.
It's annoying if you have purchased or browsed for a gift on a shared computer.
I am guessing some cookie clearing and staying logged out is the best way.
Click on your account, seller preferences. You will see a link to participate in or refuse cross-references like that.
Thanks… Do you mean: "Advertising Preferences", under "General Preferences"?
If you mean recent searches …make sure your signed in ,go to the home page and click on the eBay logo top left that should bring up all you recent searches with an option to "clear all"
You should block the whole ebay site instead - buy direct and cut them out… The sooner they go under, the better
What were you browsing? ;)
