I have a couple of questions about your build…

    Where is the SSD?
    Why is there no SSD?
How come you're not getting an SSD?
    Do you not like speed?
    Do you hate fast things?
    Why no SSD?

I cannot comprehend why someone would BUILD a PC without an SSD these days. They're cheap, reliable and oh so very very fast.
The first thing I did with my Dell Inspiron 15 5000 laptop is image the 1TB Hybrid HDD to a 1TB SSD and then ripped out the HDD and slapped in the SSD.

  • Yes, like Drew said adding a SSD will greatly improve your game and OS loading time and icreasing the RAM to 16GB won't hurt althiugh 8GB will do for current games.

  • I would trade the CPU for an Intel Core i3 4170 ~ significantly lower wattage and better single core performance will be better overall.

I would also buy from a single retailer - the $20-$30 overall difference you may save by buying from multiple retailers would surely be outweighed by the effort of organising it and the potential risk of delays & shipping issues. Certain stores will also price match too.

Echoing everyone else an SSD will see the largest performance gain on this build, however 8gb of RAM would be fine.

  • That ram wont fit under that cooler i dont think well on my MB it wouldn't thats why i have low profile G-skill ares ram.

why no ssd? get a 250GB SSD for windows and a 1TB+ HDD for secondary drive thats what i have right now i install games i dont play often on it and store music and movies and its my primary download location.

  • CPU may be underpowered for that GPU. Consider a decent i3 and drop the CPU cooler. Add a small SSD.

Keep in mind that you can easily upgrade the GPU card later, but you'll be stuck with that ugly-ish case for a while. Consider something better looking.
