EDIT: it's funny though with Razer prices and especially their prices in Australia, just before AUD went down last year (late July/early August 2008) I bought Lycosa for $89 and Lachesis for $65, and now even after AUD went back up, Lycosa was just recently reduced to $99 at MSY with Lachesis at $97?! ($80 USD in USA and that's RRP)
Yeah I have a bunch of those HP voodoo DNA keyboards I picked up from an auction. Using one at the moment :) White backlighting is nice, and the pattern on them is more subdued than the pictures make out.
Icy: how are they razer ripoffs? They are exactly the same keyboards, but with some minor branding for HP. They sell them with their custom gaming PCs.
I bought one myself from that seller and absolutely love it. Worth every cent when they retail well over $100. I would not buy these overseas because Lycosa are known for few bugs (ie keys randomly not working etc) so I would much rather purchase within Aus for warranty purposes and less hassle.

Cheers for the tip - I just received mine. I must say I was expecting the quality of the keys to be a bit better but ah well. Having said that, whilst it looks pretty ordinary during the day, it looks pretty damn awesome in the dark. Looks like something out of Star Trek!
I also wish the USB port and headphone jacks were out to the side, whilst handy nonetheless. I also discovered that my Dell keyboard, which I was replacing, actually already had 2 USB ports where the Razer has 1! And no extra USB port required on the comp either!

you can purchase a new Lycosa keyboard with back light and all (it’s actually HP rebranded Lycosa but of course powered by Razer - same keyboard except white back light which imo is much better because keys are more visible) from this Aus ebay seller for just $55 including postage. Comes with 12 month HP warranty even.
