  Which obvious ones do you know? carsales? drive? If dealers they often advertise on multiple sites. I have at times discovered the identity of the dealer by looking up the car details on another site.

      Yeah they're not bad. Bought the last couple of vehicles from there. Never used the buy it now price as I've found when they go to auction the reserve is at least 2 grand under. If it doesn't sell it gets discounted for another week. It's handy to use Google cache to see any price drop.

      http://www.governmentauctions.com.au puts the cars from mannheim in a more simpler/basic format.

      It's where many of the dealers get their vehicles from.

  Depends what you are after, good to me would be the obvious ones because of the large selection and competition. Carsales, Carpoint, Drive and Gumtree

  beware plenty of scammers when selling cars…
  eg. "i work offshore, i will send my agent to look at the car, i will pay by paypal"
  cash is king.
