10% Discount Vouchers on eBay

I shift around $6k - $10k per month selling on eBay, but never usually buy anything.
Last week when I logged into my "selling" eBay account (I have another account I use to buy things to keep my "buying" and "selling" accounts separate), I noticed I had a 10% off voucher, up to $100 off - a pleasant surprise.
So I contacted some friends and asked them if they needed anything off eBay, I soon had $1000 worth of stuff, so I went through and purchased it, and got $100 off.
The next day I logged in and low and behold, another 10% off voucher was waiting. Again I asked around and quickly got $1000 worth of stuff to buy, purchased it, and got my $100 off.
Unfortunately there wasn't another one waiting for me this morning :')
I was wondering if this is a common occurrence on eBay? Have you got a 10% off voucher out of the blue before?

    Yeah.. I'm also a ebay top rated seller moving monthly around 2500/3000$ and i have NEVER received these coupons on my ebay store account.

    I have another account i normally use as a personal account and this one normally gets these coupons every few months or so.. normally either 10% off or 15%.. never received twice so quick as you mention.

    Just got one today, 10% off up to $50. Code can only be used against specific ebay account, looks unique…
    I dont sell anything, just buy stuff

        Yep, last one was bout 3 months ago, but this month i have had 3 now in the past 3 weeks.. all 10% off.

        Just got another one today, after i used one which was set to expire tomorrow on some WD 5TB drives.

        The other one expired last week which i used on purchasing $200 worth of bulk envelopes.. now when logged back in i have another waiting ebay wide which expires on the 20th.. haha!

    ebay want's me to go broke for the next 6months.. just received another one which last until the 27th.

    The last one expired on the 20th but i didn't end up using that one.

    Anyone know if you can combine AU + US purchases on this?

    I've got 2 items in my cart. Says they'll be charged in different currencies so I don't think it'll work.

    Works with what ever in cart in same currency.

    Just used the one that ends on the 27th but also have the CTAKEN which ends on 30th.

    Yep I've got the CTAKETEN one.
    I thought it was a generic code but turns out it's a targeted offer.
    Beats me why they don't send you an email about it??

      Got that one too. Completely unannounced otherwise I would have missed it. Now that I know about it, I might as well miss it since I got nothin' to buy anyway. Why do these coupons always have to come in when I don't need them?

      Started off liquidating old stock. Now just pretty much buying/selling various stuff.
      Ebay is going to the dogs though…the system is weighted so heavily in favour of the buyer!
