So true! I'm going to keep waiting.
Ive been going to this show for years, the only good free things you get is wine and beer tastings and the cheese but I would happily pay up to $10 for a ticket for this. Free is much better if it comes along :D
70% of 0 = 30%?
Adult: $34.00
30% discount: $10.20
Ticket price: $23.80
70% discount: $23.80
Ticket price: $10.20
30% discount: $10.20
70% discount: $23.80
30% + 70% : $34.00
Typical Ozbargain price: $0.00
30% off price : $23.80
30% off - 70% off : $0.00 (because 30 + 70 = 100 FYI)
30% off is 70% more than we usually pay to attend the GF&WS.
</baby mode>
30% off is 70% more than we usually pay
Take p as the price ($34.00).
Take x as 0.7p (30% off).
Take n as the price we usually pay, according to Patnum.
x is 70% more than n
x = n+(0.7n) = 1.7n
n = x/1.7 = (0.7/1.7)p = $14.00
So according to that statement, we pay $14. Which is $14 more than we actually usually pay to attend the GF&WS.
If you're going to </baby mode> someone, learn basic algebra first.
Best time to go is late Sunday Arvo when vendor put a lot of things on sale.
