Bauhn 4K 42" UHDTV $499 starts 23rd May 15

Just wondering if anyones google-fu is better than mine as I can't find any specs or details on this thing. It's on the cover of the latest catalogue, says to see P12 for more info, P12 has nothing useful (as pictured above) but does say to go to bauhn.com.au for more info but there's nothing there, not that I can find at least.

I expect it to be 30Hz at 4K but am hoping for a surprise. If it comes to it, could just get one and if it's hopeless take it back.

      It's moments like this I installed lazarus form recovery for. Here is my reply in full, didn't have to type a single character of it again :) Disabled pm's as there's a few to many loopies in this world and I'd rather they left me alone. Not suggesting you're one of them but it's easier to just block everyone.

      Easy, yes. Legal, well…

      Because there's no wall controller, the wiring was pretty simple. Just gotta make sure the mount is secure into a joist or beam/girder and that you won't be drilling through or into things you shouldn't (like wiring).

      I replaced a fluro batten with the fan and luckily there was an earth up there too for some reason. I wasn't expecting an earth and planned on running a separate one but didn't need to. If I ever leave it running and notice sometime later, instead of fetching the remote I just turn off the old light switch for a second and turn it back on and it all resets.

      My official advice is that you really should get an electrician to do the install.

        Ahh ok cool I didn't realise the remote meant no switch on the wall - that's awesome, makes the install job easier.
