Cheapish Domain (.net)

I'm on the lookout for a cheapish .net registrar. I think I'm just struggling with the fact that they're dearer than .net.au domains.

I know there were plenty of sales around in 2014, but they have been verrrryyyy patchy in 2015.

They've got like 15% off at NameCheap and I will go with that price if I have to…but I just wanted to see if anyone knew of any better deals around. I know VentraIP normally has specials in May, but they don't look to be having that this year (and no, spending $50 to get some rock candy doesn't count as a deal for me :p ).

I currently have another domain (I think it was through NameCheap) that is hosted with Zuver.

Anyone have any suggestions?

    Current price is AU$13.95 at VentraIP. NameCheap ends up around $15.50 with WhoIsGuard.

    Crazy domains can do $10.99 with WHOIS protection. Though you won't get to set DNS records if you need that, you'll need to find some third party DNS tools to manage your DNS records, or you could pay $7 to use the feature on CrazyDomain's website… then you'd be paying $20.99 for the domain.
