Steam is not DRM free though, unlike GOG.

Agreed, if I could I would change all my 380 steam games over to GOG.

I buy most of my games from GOG now. No more intrusive and annoying DRM's!

Apparently you can redeem your Steam keys for Witcher games at GOG and add them there. So no reason not to buy from Steam, since you get the best of both worlds!

    • Once my bank charges me conversion rates, I doubt it.

Comments like this really need a link if we're to take them seriously.

As it happens I read about this, however the accusation was that GMG are selling Grey market codes from an unknown source for $39. What this basically means is NONE of the revenue go to CDPR (CD Projekt Red) for Witcher 3 sales, and considering how ethical CDPR have been over the years I find this disgusts me to my core.

My experience with GMG has never been good, so when they say CDPR wouldn't give them the price they wanted I assume that's because they were asking something disgustingly low.

A link to the GameSpot article for any who wish to read it.

If you get it off steam you can enter your cd key on GOG to get a GOG copy as well. You end up with the game on both Steam and GOG :)

    • I bought it off Steam. It was redeemed directly to my account. Where do I find the CD key to enter it on GOG?
      Please advise.

Update: found the key but don't know how or where to enter it on gog.com

  • Whats The Witcher Adventure Game like?

    • Recommend you watch this review by Elder Geek.

It's fun, it's beautiful, it's tough - worth the money.

      • Looks interesting, but might be nicer on a tablet - seems suitable.
Also on iOS and Android too for the same or less.
