Coles, Barkly Square is offering a one day special on bags of baby carrots. $.29 per 500g bag.
The best before is May 12 & May 13 however carrots will stay good for a long time past the best before if kept refrigerated. I generally eat carrots past best before for weeks after with no discernible difference in taste.
Generally the carrots found in supermarkets have a best before usually 7 days in advance. 1KG bags of carrots were around $1.38 today. Best price I've ever seen for carrots is around $1/kg so pretty good price. They had at least 50 bags and the shelf was fully stocked so I reckon they may have more in the back.
Works great for snacks or catching Bugs Bunny.
