Out of curiosity, how do ozbargainers rate this jerky? I'm quite the jerky fan and tried a sample of the original flavour and wasn't that impressed.
I like it, I prefer the biltong. Try some of the other products, best thing shipping is free.
I tried their sample recently but the taste was the same the one sold at coles and woolworths so i don't think it's worth buying in bulk online
ordered some of the super spicy chilli jerky - I'll know in a week how good it is
got this a couple of days ago
delicious!!!
I got there Christmas pack where you get all 12 flavours. I really like it. Obviously there are better flavours than others. Get their taster packs and find the flavour you like.
This vs Geronimo jerky. Who wins?
I find his prices totally unreasonable. $100 per kg for shredded biltong is ridiculous.
Even with today's discount his prices are not good.
So I get neged because you think his prices are unreasonable. This gives 20% off. Find the same quality cheaper including shipping
OK here is one:
-_- neg due to his opinion that this is not a good deal is reasonable in my books
Tried the sample and thought this jerky was just like the Woolies-bought crap.
Geronimo Jerky is way better imo.
Their Biltong is awesome though i stopped buying when they stopped doing the 500g bags/put prices up/stopped the pepper biltong
With 20% off i reckon i'll give it another crack :) (Hope my VIP status still works)
So my VIP status still works, though can't stack with the 20% - ah well - fair enough.
Seems the 500g bags are back, though prices not back to the $35 they used to be. Still with this discount - can't grumble with $40 and free shipping
JUST PLEASE BRING BACK THE PEPPER BILTONG!
The jerky sample was nice
The code probably came together with the recent free samples. Not too sure if it's generic, but the code has a use by of 11/5/2015 on mine.
the code is not working for me
still working for me
going back to get seconds :D
My honest opinion of this jerky, well the original flavour that I tried was not too good. It was not completely horrible, but it doesn't have the same meat taste I have come to expect from good and fresh jerky. My advice to Jim's Jerky would be to buy some Geronimo Jerky and then decompile their recipes, because they're making some of the freshest and tastiest jerky in Australia at the moment. Also this jerky is expensive compared to its competitors, $100 per kg is ridiculous, I can buy a whole lot of beef from a local farmer and do it myself for $100.
last step in the buy process doesn't give you a confirmation (next page doesn't load) but the email confirmation still arrives
