I''m going to London late October and plan to use Airbnb. So I've looked at the listings and put some into a wish list.
But surprisingly when I contacted two of them they were not interested in accepting a booking so far ahead.
That makes me wonder when should I start sending my inquiries and expect to get a confirmation.
Any thoughts?
It varies on the host, a lot won't allow more then a year ahead, but depending on the host, they usually accept within that year mark.
I'd look up and list the ones you like and then if you find one that you are very interested in then email the host and explain your situation and see what they say. Also have as much reference material on your profile (links to facebook, reviews etc) so they can see what kind of guest you might be.

The people that ive known to use airbnb have booked a day before and sometimes due to cancellations that day.
