Multiple Trips to Asia on September

Hi guys, I am planning to go phuket from Melbourne on 29/8 to 2/9 and then heading to Ho chi minh city (Vietnam) from 2/9 to 6/9. Which airline would you guys prefer to fly with? I havent fly with Airsia so i wont know much about them but they are offering cheaper price than Jetstar. I only can take 1 week off work from 29/8 to 6/9 :(

    Remember you can price match with Jetstar.

    I called jetstar but they refused to price match because they said its not a direct flight from melbourne to phuket.

    I don't get it? Sounds like 1 single trip to me from what I've read (MEL-HKT-SGN)? Not sure how it's 'multiple'. IMO, Airasia -> Jetstar for a number of reasons, unless the flight is direct, cheaper or you need Qantas points.

    I ad no issue with air asia….

    The seats are far far smaller on intra asia flights though!

    AirAsiaX was fine!

    Also- if you're looking at airasia (its not direct) maybe also look at scoot? You might find them a bit cheaper..
