It seems like that the new price has not been updated yet however, the coupon works :). The orders may get cancelled tomorrow but worth trying. .

Just picked up my batteries. I got 2 x AA 40-Packs and 1 x AAA 30-Pack for $9.98. The staff member told me that they only cancelled orders with a total of $0.00

    Added something else to the order so it wasn't free. So far, this kind of tactic has worked with the really cheap Woolworth's toilet roll deals, and have successfully picked up 2 separate orders for them. Will see how we go. Good luck to everyone else who managed to get the deal!

      Probably because your order total wasn't $0.00

      As soon as the staff see an order total of $0.00 that's an immediate red flag.

        Yes seems the trick was to add some thing extra to the cart to make the order total go over $0

        So those being very greedy wanting every thing for $0 will miss out.

          Bit over the top and offensive calling people greedy. I ordered the two packs for $0 with the full knowledge it would probably be cancelled, so it was no big deal to me when I went in to pick up a digital radio this morning and the guy told me the order for the batteries was cancelled. If it worked, great, if not, nothing lost. My motivation was certainly not greed. Maybe I didn't want to waste money on something I didn't need just in the hope that the deal would be honoured. I would call that practical.

    Ordered one of each and the Code worked. Received confirmation email this morning and went to pick them up. At store they told me that all orders for batteries were cancelled bu their IT. Some shoppers were pissed because they paid for them.

    I got pretty lucky as picked mine up a few hours ago 6ish to be exact and they honored the deal as I purchased 2xAA 40 pack and 1xAAA 30 pack. However, the manager saw it was being handed to me and looked at the receipt and just shook his head to the guy serving me but they didn't say anything directly to my face. Bottom line I'm one happy chap with all the batteries costing me on $9.98 lol
