Site says 50% off (VIP50) but enter the above code and you get extra 25% on your first hosting invoice!

The 75% discount is off your first web hosting invoice when you purchase any new Economy, Business cPanel web hosting plan by entering coupon code MAY75 when placing your order online. This offer is valid for monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annual and bi-annual billing periods.

They might also have an extra discount on domains as well but I didn't check. If not they are already very competitive as I renewed some recently.

Best to prepay for 2 years for the maximum saving as I did. Example: 2 year Economy Saver Hosting works out to be discounted from $118.80 to $29.70 which is ~$1.23 per month!

  • beware their false advertising.
    when you click on hosting options it says from 4.95pm unlimited bandwith but when you click on that link only the 11.99 plan has unlimited bandwidth.

    • Most of the time they're ok. But there was one event that occurred to me which really kills the deal. Last month one of our websites (add-on domain) stopped working and we had no idea what happened and we were sure that it definitely wasn't our fault. First call to VIP, i was advised that because i had too many add-on domains on our account (this is the unlimited plan with unlimited add-on domain which they've stopped offering) and the resources were maxed out and that we should separate the websites to another account. I looked at the log and resource usage, we barely hit 10% during the period when the problem occurred (a lot of our add-on domains are in development). Reached out to them again, I was advised that it was our website problem, we should contact our developer to fix it. So we got our developer to look at it and found out that some core php files were missing so we restored them back. I went back to ask who removed the files, when and why? They then looked at their log, and told me their anti-virus software removed them - the end. I was furious, how did they just remove our core php files and break our website without even a word of warning. What made it worse was their support did not tell me what actually happened and we had to spend many hours looking for the root cause when they can simply review their log. Mind you, after all that, there was no apology and all that they told me is that "it is what it is, there's nothing we can do about it" (or something along that line). They also went on and said our website was out of date (it was the latest version installed from installatron) and we have another copy of the website on another add-on domain and it was untouched.

          Unfortunately yes. We prepaid 2 years on a similar deal (i think it was 65% off first invoice back then).
          However, we are looking to move. With the hours we had to spend on these silly problems, we'd rather lose the few hundred dollars.

        • @zerocul: Please update with who you change to. I'm looking now to find a decent provider myself.

          Net Virtue has awesome support, but I believe they re-sell some services from VentraIP, unless I'm grossly mistaken.

  • I've had great support from VentraIP! I have a Shared Hosting plan and a VPS with them and they are always quick to respond to my issues.
