So, added my gift voucher credits from ING to my account The Iconic, no problems, spend it how I like.
However, a few times now the missus has ordered something, then after placing the order (paying by credit on account) they come back and say item is out of stock. They then say we can't issue refunds back to my credit balance, here is a credit voucher code for the amount.
The thing is, those voucher codes work like discount codes, which can't be combined. So I can't use these credit codes with a discount code, nor combine them if I have multiple return credit codes, and to top it off, any unused value from that code is lost.
Surely that can't be right, especially in this case where it's their own fault? Are they not required by law to return funds in the form originally used?
I had the same argument with them. I don't see why they cant just credit your account but they insist they can't do it.
It is very annoying.
