Have never attended a AFL grand final before, and i'd really like to take my father to experience one (my team wont have a chance to play in one in the foreseeable future :P)
I know clubs and the AFL sell breakfast packages, usually around the $1500 mark, however there is a $950 per person package available https://www.afleventoffice.com.au/grand_final_packages.asp
Is this a reasonable deal? do those club breakfast packages get reduced to this mark closer to the event ? should i just bite the bullet and guarantee my seat?
i'm based interstate, so turning up on the day looking for a scalper may not be the best plan…

Seats are pretty average but I suppose that's to be expected.
Think I'll do this one day too. Despite the exorbitant cost it is a dream I can afford but would love it to be my team in there which too isn't looking likely anytime soon.
