Help Chrome app to notify new changes to webpage

Hi guys I was wondering whether anyone uses or knows of an extension on chrome that can -alert you when there is new content on a webpage

I am using auto refresh plus on chrome but cannot figure out how to notify me when say for example there is a new post on twitter/facebook/stock market.

Any help is appreciated!

    Why use a Chrome extension? ChangeDetection.com will email you with updates.

      is it instantaneous though, like for example would it notify me of a new post on ozbargain as soon as it is posted

    I am using a Chrome extension called Page Monitor. It's quite useful to check bargains pages posted here to see when they come back in stock. :) If you know jquery, you can use jquery selectors to pick up changes to specific sections of a page only.
