10 Blank DVDs $3, 2GB MP3 Players $8, Wireless Desktop Sets $35 and More; MLN (Victoria) Nov 2009

MLN are restocking the $2 - 4GB USB Flash drives on Thursday. There may be some other bargains while you are there too. I had a look to see and thought the following might be of interest to some. (Especially as I thought I'd drop in and take a 2nd crack at trying to get those $2 - 4GB USB Flash drives :) )

• $3 for a 10 Pack of Blank DVDs; picture shows brand is Laser.
  From previous discussions on OzBargain, I think Laser may have a higher ratio of bad to good discs.
  However at $0.30 a piece vs the usual $0.50+ , I think this works out better for some people.

• $11 for a 50 pack of blank CDs; picture shows brand is Laser.
  That's not the cheapest price, but if you're already going in, it could save you the time and petrol picking it up from elsewhere.

• $8 for an A-Trans 2GB MP3 player with earphones or $14 for the 4GB version.
  I haven't heard of this brand but it could be a good little stocking filler or Kris Kringle item … maybe even to reduce the drain on your phone's battery if you're using your phone as your MP3 player like I do

• $13 Laser brand 1.3 Megapixel USB webcam.
  When I StaticIce "1.3 webcam" the cheapest for VIC is $23.00 at UMart … which sounds a bit high to me. NSW has units for $14.47. Anyways, if you are going into MLN anyways, and want a cheap webcam for yourself or someone else, this could be good to pick up.

• $35 Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 3000
  I'm not familiar with these, but I suspect $35 is supposed to be good for a wirelelss keyboard plus mouse …
