Howdy all!

Another week and another good Play-Asia special!

This week Far Cry 2 is selling for only $10.85 AUD! I've personally been after this one for a while and I'm glad to see it is finally so cheap :).

Note that it is the Korean version however it is region free and the game is in English (though I'm not sure about the manual or cover) so it will work fine on your Aussie 360!

EB Games is still selling this for $49.99 with other competitors not too far off.

Perfect stocking filler for a teenager or just good for yourself ;).

      Lot of places wont take imported games, especially if it has a non-English cover.

      Actually I agree :) Even though MW2 was short and sweet, FC2 even with its repetitiveness and all was a very fun game. Guess I like the non-linear games.

    This game is terrible, but good price anyway.

    I got 2 copies of this game with a purchase of a Inno3d graphics card… sold it for cheap on eBay. There are so many copies of this game (for PC) floating around its not funny..

    Still a good price but personally I wouldn't pay it.

    I bought this for like $25AUD from PlayAsia MONTHS ago.
    Played for maybe 5 hours, terribly boring game, which is sad cos it looks great.

    Anyway EB wouldnt let me trade it in either, because it's Korean, and NTSC.

    are you sure this will work in australia?? i dont play consoles but I thought that play asia games were NTSC and wouldn't work on aussie xbox's?

      The Xbox 360 is a bit different to older consoles. There are a lot of games that are region free, however some do not work. Play-Asia lists if a game will work on your PAL console or not.

    Yeah, I didn't enjoy this game at all. Even at $15, I'd give it a miss. You spend majority of your time fixing your car. Weapons wear out, so you are constantly looking for new guns, enemies spawn indefinitely and no reward/incentives to take out enemies.

    I really enjoyed this game, until it broke. There was a major bug in this game, where it would refuse to load any save games that were at 75% completion. AFAIK this bug has been fixed via a patch, but I have not personally confirmed this. Anyway, if the bug is gone, this is definitely a bargain for anyone who did not pick this game up.

    this is one of those games that tries to hide the dull and boring gameplay with graphics. i didn't like the original either. extremely linear
