Gave Netflix trial a go and not too impressed with the catalogue. Can someone confirm that the US Netflix has more current content than the one we have here?
Which VPN offers best value to access US Netflix?
Cheers

I wouldn't say the US catalogue is more current, it has some shows the Aus doesn't but its also missing some shows the Aus does. Overall I think its a better catalogue. Agree getflix is a good option, they have a trial period so you can go have a look for yourself
say, Mad Men - Aus Netflix only has S7 first half. Some movies I googled that are available in US Netflix (Dumb and Dumber) are not available here. Downton Abbey is way behind.
http://hola.org - download this and you're set
is hola for web browsing only?
computer, tablet, phone. i didnt think netflix.
From experience, web browsing and mobile (iPhone) + works great with netflixs
I think it IS only for Web browsers but on the plus side, it's free, and it will emulate a lot of different countries
how much data do you go through seeing you become a peer (upload)
Honestly I have found the UK Netflix to have the best selection and the one we end up watching the most.
I did this comparison while ago. http://www.dealon.com.au/deals_details.php?deal_id=26476
Basically down to 2:
Unblock us
SmartyDNS (slightly cheaper)
I used to use Unblock.US but switched to Getflix.
Unblock.us only does monthly billing which is a paid. Getflix was like $30 for a year
getflix is much much better then both of those.
and cheaper aswell.
I've been very happy with uflix https://uflix.com.au/
I use and recommend Getflix - signed up in the Easter deal for 12 months, have not regretted it!
i've been using unotelly (for dns) and so far so good, using it for hulu plus (us) and netflix (us)
free android app for your phone, so you can easily update your public ip address as well as change regions for different services - i'm still going through hulu (us) and netflix (us) though, so haven't changed regions yet
i understand that the best netflix content will be a combination of switching regions between us, uk and canada
netflix is good for a lot of back catalogue content as well as current netflix original content (trailer park boys, house of cards, orange is the new black, etc) - and there are no ads
hulu is good for a lot of current content but has ads
from memory;
unotelly free trial ~7-8 days
hulu free trial ~7 days
netflix free trial ~28 days
well worth trying out the free trials to see what works best for you and what content you want to watch
any questions feel free to drop me a pm
Also recommend getflix. i bought the annual membership and think it is worthwhile. Although every now and then bigpond update my ip address and I need to go in and tell getflix to update. Takes all of about 10sec but annoys me - I think this is bigpond no getflix though.
I bought this recently. 4 years of VPN plus you get a smartDNS as well. Both the VPN and the DNS work very well and I have used it for netflix on multiple devices.

you dont need a vpn only a DNS.
go for getflix they have been the best ive ever used.
