I'm not sure how useful this is to some, but i noticed that they are selling their 12 week subscriptions for only $2 a week. Be careful to cancel if you don't want more because it will auto renew at $76 thereafter.
Usually the price for short subscriptions is about $6, this is cheaper than the student rates.
How does that work - you just cancel after 12 weeks and resubscribe each time? They don't get shirty at the fact that you have an Economist account with them already - or do you need a new email/credit card each time?
Quite keen on getting the Economist weekly for only $3.33 an issue…
just cancel and renew with new name.

Is this at all local libraries or selected ones? I'm not subscribed to the service at my local library but checking their emagazine catalogue it doesn't seem to have the economist anyway.
hmm… I'm not sure if it's all libraries, but i've checked 3 of them in Victoria and they have it
i think these are their standard short term rates.
the $40 for 12 weeks printed offer is pretty good.
works out at $173 a year if u can be bothered resubscribing - they are pretty slow to process subs.
