      I think they just mean this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brownie_points

      It is possible they give you they usual $10 referral credit if someone uses your personal code, but the email does not mention that topic. I decided against putting a referral link into the post, not sure whether that would clash with forum rules.

      Of course, feel free to add your codes. The more the merrier. :-)

    Amaysim are very expensive. They charge data by the mb, not kb. I was with them on their 5Gb plan and used most of the 5GB each month. Have changed to Jeenee on Kb data and only use 1.5 GB per month and only pay $25.00. Jeenee is also 4G.

    MB data is a real con.

    To cover off my initial concern, I am relieved to find that I could opt out of marketing within, Sign-up.

      In my experience they pre-activate on the day they send it out by post, you lose a couple of days while it's in AP's hands, especially over the weekend. When you complain they'll credit you with a couple of bucks (pro rata), it's quite a dodgy practice really, they're counting on people letting it slide, like not many people care if it's only 2-3 days. Does anybody know if it's illegal to send an active Sim card through the post?
      If yours wasn't pre-activated i have no idea how long you can safely hold off from activation

    Just received a confirmation from a friend who successfully applied a code that failed yesterday, i gave him 3 different codes they all came back as invalid, these were supposed to expire already, I guess amaysim extends this to make up for the stuff up yesterday, it was so frustrating going the sign up process (multiple times) then got "denied" the free Sim, we even tried the BIGSAVE code (how silly of him) it still spat the dummy, they claimed it was some server error shit. So if anyone still has any unused code you should give it another go. I've got 2 returned from my friend, i'll see if i can persuade or 'beg' someone to take them
