There are 1300 workwear items offered in this trade up promotion. That's 50 per RSEA Safety Store nationally. So it's definitely a case of first in, best dressed (pardon the pun). Upon registering, you will receive an email within 48 hours confirming whether or not you are in the first 50 applicants for your selected RSEA store.

To qualify, you need to be over the age of 16 (apprentices welcome), and be able to prove you are a tradesman or wear workwear to work. You need to be able to collect the item from an RSEA Safety Store between 27th April & 9th of May 2015.

        Some really old work pants that had holes in the crutch :) They didn't ask me for any job ID (but I had my work ID card just in case).

          Got myself long pants. Traded in old shorts that have expired, give them your worst they dont care. I also had a choice of any of the selected items as it was help yourself at the isle…
          I was the first at the ashmore store at 2:30
          No ID required either i just showed email on phone, but i was in my fluros.
          Nice work on this one TA, I love free.

    Visited my local RSEA store after work and picked up a pair of pants (received confirmation email this morning).

    Store assistant implied that they weren't many who signed up to my local store.

    P.S you also become a member (if chosen) and get a 5% discount on your purchases.

      By the sounds of what is bring traded in it wouldn't be fare giving it to a charity as they would only have to turf it themselves

        Yeah I did. It does say email within 48 hours, it's only been 24 hours. Perhaps I'll get an email tomorrow at some stage.

    Picked up new pair of jeans today. Received my confirmation email within 15mins so mustn't be much coming from my local store.

    They weren't even confident in how to process the order so must have been one of the first.

    Got my brother to sign up (labourer) also, and scored a second pair for myself. Bout time he was good for something. I did trade MY old Workwear though, would have been an even better deal if used his clothes also! Haha

    Wondering how many other tradie relatives I have……

    I traded one for one. Shorts for shorts, pants for pants. Plenty of stock in my size!

        Didn't ask for ID, YMMV. I'm a sparky so had my licenses, etc with me but in my case, they weren't needed.

        I'd be tempted to sign up my old man but he's quite a bit bigger than me so would look funny with him walking up to the counter with a pair of 87R's when he'd be closer to 107R's. :p maybe it's just the guilty conscience in me not wanting to abuse the system though and being greatful for what I got, but it does seem this offer is very open ended looking at other people's posts.

        Also, pick what you want. I had my options as 1-jeans,2-shorts,3-pants,4-polo and my brother's were the same. It didn't have to be your priority pick.
