  Does the Fosbaby pan/tilt?

  The product page's features section says:
  720P HD Pan/Tilt Wired/Wireless IP Camera

  but I can't find any other mention of pan/tilt and no description of the pan/tilt range under specifications?

    Sorry, the Fosbaby does not pan & tilt, Thanks for letting us know about that, I have taken the misleading phrase out.

    There is a new Fosbaby P1 model coming out next month which will pan & tilt.

    Dan76n, rep is lying with the margin talk with Foscam HQ, etc.
    You can find these foscam cheaper on other sites like bestbuy, http://www.bestbuy.com/site/foscam-indoor-wireless-ip-camera… for less than $65.
    Also because there will be a new foscam baby, the old model will definitely go down in price next month anyway.
    Also, $5 on $85 is just a bit over 5% discount. And so I'm pretty sure they are not selling lower than cost price. A business cannot survive with such low margin and that is another reason why I do not trust what rep is saying.

    So for all these reasons, this is not a bargain so I will have to neg.

      Wow,

      That's a bit harsh to say that i'm lying. Bestbuy is selling this at $65 USD for the FI8910W but we are selling it at AUD $85 together with a 3m power extension cable plus Australian warranty.

      Furthermore, the Fosbaby P1 will not be superceding the Fosbaby model. The P1 will be a new product that has additional features and it's own price point.

      p.s. We don't do promotions often as it is definitely low margin after including the freebies and shipping costs. We put out these offers at a lower price as compared to other Australian sellers to promote our business.

  Apologize for the lying part. I obviously cannot confirm what margin you guys have.
  With the best buy example, I was just explaining the cost price of the camera is still much lower than what people are selling it for. I guess it is like apple products, you pay the brand as well as the actual product.

  Maybe remove the freebies people don't want/need to put the cost down a bit more.

  I definitely can confirm that in the last few years, I don't think I ever seen a proper discount on foscam from Aussie retailers.

  Good luck anyway with your business, I wish there were even more of you selling Foscam camera.

    Hi there,

    No worries, we added in the freebies (including free micro-sd cards for compatible cameras) as we would like to offer customers the experience of having a once-off purchase experience where they receive a product and are able to set it up without having to shop for extension cables or micro-sd cards. As for free shipping, the boss believes that there shouldn't be any further costs after displaying the sale price even though it does bite into our margins especially when we send interstate.

    Do let us know if you or anyone are interested in selling Foscam as we are mainly a distributor for Australia and only offer promotions once in a while to gain traffic. :)
