As I stated here, this was a genuine coupon. DH should come clean and admit they removed the code because it was published on OzBargain. I'm not in the habit of lying, and have absolutely nothing to gain by doing so.

And to those continually asking how I got the code, the mods are fully aware of my methods… I will not be divulging any information to others. I think I've earned my reputation, and it shouldn't be questioned. I apologise profusely to those affected, and can guarantee I won't be using DH any time soon.

Finally, just noticed a new code has been provided by DH with exactly the same conditions as my post. I think this alone should be enough to appease the doubters. If DH is serious about not wanting codes posted here early, they should tell Scotty to ban their deals.

    dear TA, just want to say thanks for posting the deal early and you couldn't have predicted DH would chuck a spazz and pull the code. I for one appreciate your helpful codes and people have no reason to question how you got the code, for all we know DH could have chosen to pull the code to allow people outside of Ozbargain (I. E. Other Facebook users) to try out the code and are perfectly within their rights to do so.

    Some people are beginning to forget these vouchers are a privilege and not a right.

    What a storm because DH pulled a code which would have resulted in a 1000 ozbargainers getting a meal because they were quick on the buzzer & most of whom will probably not use DH again except if they were given a code.

    What I'm wondering is how the deal was able to get put on the front page, when Delivery Hero never published or advertised the offer in the first place?

    I'm sure there is a system in place here where by deals wont get listed until they become valid (It's a submitters responsibility to put in the valid times and only post legit deal's, right?). Pretty big fubar all around, to be honest.

      Why does it matter to you? We have all enjoyed many (nearly) free dinners thanks to T.A's work.
      BTW
      By putting the word methods in quotations it would seem you are belittling or taking something away from his work. Were you unsatisfied with all your free dinners and wish to now have a go at T.A.? Is that your intention? Because its pretty freakin rude to enjoy all those free dinners, then turn on the bloke that provided them.

        Hi ronnknee (& KT). As I've stated all over these forums, I won't be disclosing my methods. Why are you so keen on knowing? The only people that know how I got the codes for the last 2 nights are the moderators. I cleared everything with them first, and they know my methods are/were legitimate.

        Don't get me wrong, I'm not belittling him at all - simply quoting what he described them as. I appreciate his efforts. I just find it peculiar that he's making a deal out of it by stating "the mods are fully aware of my methods… I will not be divulging any information to others". Wouldn't that make anyone curious?

          To be curious is one thing, to accuse someone of using secretive "methods" is another.
          BTW there is a cynical tone that can be added by the selective use of quotes. It seems downright ungrateful when the one you are accusing has fed us all for many nights in a row.

I myself am curious too but he's said he's not saying what his methods are and I don't care that much. I'm just saying curiosity is not unusual.

          Kinda like seeing an incident taking place on the streets with police arresting some guy. Everyone looks, but what's it to them? What do they gain out of it?

          In addition to that, come on. We know that someone else would've posted it if he didn't. Not taking anything away from his thousands of posts in general, but someone else would've posted it and you would then be re-labelling it as that someone else's deal.

If you are only curious and you respect T.A. and his desire not to disclose his source which has been vetted by the mods, why not politely message him? You will look like less of an ingrate that way. He doesn't have to tell you. He might, that's his choice, but remember to thank him for all the free dinners while you are at it.

        If he didnt put them up, someone else would have as has been done in the past. His methods I am assuming going by a little of gearbest history is to contact a DH person to get the codes before they were published just so he could be the one to post them and have everyone go ya TA, you are the man/woman
