Not really flying specifically for Sushi, but people travel, you know, for work etc. So if I happen to be there, I might get a free Sushi.

True, but it is strange the only comments (apart from mine) & a majority of votes are from people whose profiles show they don't live in Brisbane. I can't imagine they will all be here queuing up during the few hours this deal will be on.

Is the chef Japanese?
Local Woolies employs Japanese to make the "sushi" for their in-store sushi counter - but that does not mean it is any good, and Western style sushi is very different to that generally available in Japan.
Sounds better than the usual sushi shop in Brisbane. But a long queue may not be worth the effort for a $3.50 roll. Deal ends by 3pm, but best to be early.
Few reviews on UrbanSpoon of their other stores (around 75% rating), but TripAdvisor has good reviews…

Miki Sushi sure is beautiful and truly delicious but it's a bit too pricey. Regular sushi shops cost $2 for a roll of sushi while miki costs 3.50$ +.

The rainbow roll and grilled scallop is to die for. the scallops were slightly seared and just melted in the mouth. Wonderful! the rainbow roll looked stunning and tasted just as good.
From my understanding the sushi rolls aren't usually Japanese. It's either Korean or Taiwanese. Usually the Korean ones taste better.
Very good sushi, The scallop and rainbow roll is around 2.20 and not free but the others like the black rice spicy crab which is 3.50 is free.
Rainbow roll and prawn twister are so delicious.
