  price and make definately do matter. but it depends how important images are to you, and if you wil plug/unplug it often. most don't mind/see a difference.

  Get the cheapest possible. Quality doesn't matter, because the data transmitted along the wire has error correcting coding, you'll either see something very obviously broken or something that is great.

  HMDI cables are binary - They either work or don't, alive or dead.
