states machine washable on the packaging.
Oh well. The polyester would still be bad during the summer months. Never use 100% polyester during hot climate months. Not to mention it you'll need to keep washing it because of dust mites if you have an allergy to them or asthma. I don't recommend this quilt for summer months or people with asthma or dust mite allergy.
It's a cheap quilt, point taken, but you're using quilts during summer? We downgrade to a blanket and put the quilt in the cupboard. I thought that was normal.
There's quilts that are made for both winter and summer (all seasons).
people use quilts during the Australian summer? :s
Still a bargain though, so worth posting
Thank OP
Yeah if all you're after is a poor quality quilt that may get riddled with dust mites after a short while. Go ahead. :)
Personally i'd want a high quality all seasons quilt (at least cotton fill) that's made to last. Polyester is just bad for hot climates.

Tontine Queen Bed Quilt $19 (from $30) @ Coles - La Plaza, Bentley, WA
Thanks for posting WA deals OP
It's 20% off homewares and fashion right now at Target btw, if you're after linen
Looks like a poor quality excuse for a bed quilt that's only polyester which would be bad during summer months. You'd want a quilt to be cool during summer and warn during winter, keep out the dust mites which and be high quality which is not this. I don't even think you could machine was this.
On the other hand i already bought my Jason Queen machine washable 100% Wool Quilt for $79.95 down from $199.95 on a recent sale from Harris Scarfe. That was a bargain.
