  Why? Genuine question as I just purchased one. I'm rather paranoid now after my computer blew up after a storm whilst plugged into a cheap COTD Boston protector. Currently trying to find out what protection I had but so far only a mention of a $20 refund (price paid for the surge protector, not sure if shipping costs included).

    The warranty would be with the manufacturer, in your case "Boston". COTD would only replace/refund. As this is a DSE branded equipment, they would be honoring the warranty. But I'm sure they ask for the original receipts for the devices that were plugged into it..
