i also bought two $100 gift cards in separate orders and paid $82.50 for each one, this is better than previous coles deal.

I am with the CBA and I have found if I try putting through 2 purchases for the same amount with the same retailer within a short time (ie within a minute or 2) then the second transaction gets declined. Anyone else with the CBA noticed this before? Must be a security feature but it's annoying when you end up with cancelled orders like these.

Gift cards are just as good as cash. Btw you can negotiate first then pull out the gift cards when you pay. But I doubt they have power to negotiate price with you.
