I have a question for those who have had experience with Jetstar regarding flight changes. I have read the fare rules and charges etc. but would like to hear from those who have personally dealt with Jetstar regarding such issues.
I am thinking of either selling my long haul international flight ticket to Japan and changing the ticket name only without changing the dates or keeping the ticket but changing the dates only.
For the first option to sell - do I only have to pay a fee of $75 per person per flight or are there any other charges I need to be aware of. Also, can I transfer the Plus Bundle inclusions to the buyer or do I have to forfeit those?
For the second option to keep - say if I purchased my original ticket for $500 for the flight only and the new flight I wish to change to costs $700. Is it really as simple as paying only an extra $200 to change the dates if I have purchased the Plus Bundle or are there any other catches?
Finally, does anyone have any clue when the next sale to Japan will be so that I can minimise my losses if I decide to keep my tickets?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Both options the same… Don't have to pay $75 as you have purchased the Plus Bundle
**No change fees for date, time & name changes **
But fare difference applies
First option to sell : Pay for the price difference if the flight price increased (Plus Bundle can transfer)
Second option to keep : Pay for the price difference between the new & original flight
