SYD - LA / SF in February/January 2016 - When to Book?

Hi All,

Travelling to the US (LA or SF) in Jan/Feb to catch the ski season and make use of the new Perisher/Vail season pass. I keep seeing cheap flights but nowhere near my travel period as yet. When is the best time to book? When do the deals start releasing for this period?

I am looking to book my accommodation as soon as possible but I don't want to book until I have my flights in order.

    I normally book my Feb/Mar LAX flights between November and early January.
    Normally keep an eye out for specials in the coming months and jump on anything sub$900

      I book accommodation well before the flights.

      There will always be seats of a flight, but not so with beds at the places you want to stay.
