Anyone Use the Telstra Treats App?

Telstra Treats

iOS and Android app that gives you discounts to nearby places.

The one time offers seem to be pretty good but on a day to day basis, there doesn't seem to be many great deals. The best one I can find in Melbourne is Sushi Jin, 2 sushi rolls for $4 and 4 for $6 which is probably the cheapest you can get in the Melbourne CBD.

Ideally, I'd like to see a list of deals near me instead of taking up the entire area of the screen with 1 or 2 random deals. I also don't want to be asked random questions, just show me everything and I will filter.

What have your experiences been with Telstra Treats?

    I've only opened the app a handful of times. First time there was I think only one offer near me (Brisbane)… the most recent time there were a few more offers but nothing enticing. Just opened it again and I see an offer for a free pearl milk tea at a location pretty close to me! 22 hours left to claim…

    The deals I saw advertised looked good but in the app I didn't see anything that took my fancy. I want free things or BOGOF or half price somethings… Not advertising on boutiques (which I personally found ugly) having sales.

    Also it would be good to be able to view other locations eg at home in the morning, what are the deals near my work suburb so I know whether to bring or buy lunch
