After using coupons and removing VAT, some games come down to quite a decent price. Shipping to Australia is £4.
Coupons:
1off10 = £1 off £10
2off20 = £2 off £20
3off30 = £3 off £30
4off40 = £4 off £40
5off50 = £5 off £50
Note: Prices on the site are shown including VAT. Once the site detects that your are from Australia (either by logging in to your account, or by adding an Australian address during checkout) it will drop VAT from the price. For example, first time on the site, Smash Bros Wii U will show as £30.95. Once it detects you are non-UK, the price drops to £25.79. The coupons above work for the price of the game WITH VAT. So even though Smash Bros now shows £25.79 - 3off30 SHOULD work. To avoid confusion, it's probably best to add games to your basket before logging in, so you see the VAT inclusive price and you know which coupon is best to use. Then once it knows you're Aussie, the VAT will vanish but the best coupon still works. Hope that makes sense!
These are the games I've bought (each incl shipping):
Splatoon Wii U pre-order - £22.79 ($44.52 using 2off20)
Super Smash Bros. Wii U - £26.79 ($52.33 using 3off30)
CompareGames show these to be the best online prices for these games at the moment

How long is shipping to Aus? Good price for Splatoon but I do not want to wait over a week?
