3x 300g Nature's Way Protein Powder Brown Rice + Pea Chocolate $19.95 + $9.95 Shipping @ COTD

100

I've been waiting for this for a while - COTD finally has vegan protein powder amongst its many whey protein powder deals! It's a very reasonable price, $19.95 for 3x 300g, +$9.95 shipping. I bought two lots of 3 tubs.

It's $24.99 for 1x 300g at Woolworths. The cheapest non-dairy protein powder I've ever seen was about $11 per 350 g for some clearance Musashi soy protein powder at Woolworths several years ago.

If you're into muscle building and averse to dairy, this is about the cheapest you're likely to get protein powder. It's even cheaper than sites like BulkNutrients, including respective shipping costs.

COTD charges a flat $9.95 for shipping to most of Australia. You can offset this by adding some other items to your cart. The creatine is reasonable, though still slightly more expensive per kg than Ebay. There are a few other ok buys in the groceries section but nothing particularly worth writing about.

As previously posted on Ozbargain, you can also get $10 off COTD by installing the iOS Yumtable App, effectively negating shipping.

My referral link is https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/register?ref=xfsk452v for which we'll both receive $10 credit after your first purchase, for new accounts.

animal protein is superior to plant protein

    • Maybe, I am not totally up with the science, but for many of us animal protein isn't an option regardless.

For vegans and people who are lactose intolerant, this seems to be a good deal.

As a vegan, THANK YOU. :)

I'm really glad I could help! It's hard to find this stuff at a cheap price, I've been compulsively checking the protein powder section of COTD for a while and I'm glad it finally paid off.

this stuff tastes ok. Though the texture is a bit gritty, best if you use a small blender to mix it before drinking.

  • That creatine is $8/360g + postage. It's $18/kg delivered on ebay without really looking.

    • Yes, though some people may put value on the brand or smaller portable containers, rather than generic creatine on Ebay. Though I wouldn't personally.

There's also a creatine, beta alanine, caffeine grape flavoured preworkout drink that is at an ok price for that sort of thing.

Oh, excellent. I'll eat this, and it's even chocolate! I used to start every day with a "fake mocha" made with a spoonful of chocolate soy protein mix and black coffee, to kickstart my metabolism for the day (on the advice of my "jock" then-boyfriend) and to give me a bit more protein than I'd otherwise get as someone who doesn't eat meat every day. But I've had a hard time finding remotely affordable vegan protein powder in Australia.

    Thanks, OP!

np!! I'm super thrilled that it's been helpful to at least a couple of people, despite getting buried under all the other new deals!
