I was just wondering if anyone has bought a samsung gear s either outright or through a carrier. If so are you using a sim card?Which phone company are you with? Is it data share? How much data does this device use?
Thanks in advance

It doesn't need to have its own sim card but it can have one as an added bonus of using it without it being connected to your phone
So you can use it without the sim card it will be connected to your phone via blietooth but I'm thinking when I go for a run or a quick walk I can leave my phone at home and have all my calls and texts forwarded over to my watchThat's the main feature that makes me chose this watch over other watches e.g. Android wear
Yeah okay cool, as long as you are aware of that.
Do any stores stock them? Would be keen to see one in action
Well i know jb and harvey norman sell then but i saw one on display in my local dicksmith store but was told they dont have any for sale
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the gear s kinda flawed in Australia since it has to have its own separate phone number (taking away most of the convenience of not relying on your phone)?
Also interested to hear about why you want one! Personally, I'm using a moto 360 and love it.
