I am considering getting extel's $40 deal. Is anyone with them and uses Netflix? What's their "speed" like?
Are there better bundles out there?

Doh! Bumps up the monthly cost to almost $50 :(
Yup, I was going to switch from TPG to Exetel as well. But works out to be the same price for me. So sticking with TPG.

Depends where you live. When it comes to internet some will same it's good, others will disagree.
Paying $40 for a measly 100gb limit is crazy…. especially if you plan on streaming stuff like Netflix.
100gb won't go very far if you're using netflix in HD everyday.
$59.99 gets unlimited cap on TPG and you needn't worry about caps at all.
Seems like a no-brainer to me.
And as has been said before, the speed depends on your line quality and distance to exchange.
There are sites you can go to that will estimate your speed, just google "adsl coverage map" etc.
Im currently paying $20 more for Unlimited ADSL2+ and phone line
so not really.
I have been using Netflix for the last 2 years …. The average data consumption/month is around 200GB …. with medium usage …2.5 - 3.5 hrs/day
Yes I use this deal. Been very happy with it. But I don't stream or download movies. The most data I have used in a month is 50gb. Usually it's more like 30gb.
after using exetel for 8 years, I finally had enough with slow speed and frequent connection dropouts. Belong keeps me happy these days, untill I find better value for service!
Checkout Spintel.
Note the initial up-front $59.99 or $99.99 activation cost.
