business has obviously suffered since the recent changes noted here, and the fall of the AUD to USD in the past 12 months
I'd say it is more to do with lost business because of the drop in exchange rates.
I could not see an expiry date with this offer. Is it a permanent change?

Just a heads up that total has to be over $40 USD after any promotions or referral bonus are added to order
Seems like they have changed this as shipping used to be calculated before applying any promotions which means now you have to spend more to get the free shipping.
