These shirts aren't really my kind of style, but I thought I'd share just in case anyone else is interested. Enjoy :)

  • I've never actually tried to buy from any of these Rivers deals but the following line:

"Your local store may have lots or may have none"

    always makes me nervous.

Has anyone had experience with these deals. Are they generally a problem or is stock usually available. Theoretically, they could put out a promotion like this and have no stock whatsoever!

I guess it's hard to give a blanket statement to cover all stores, but my local clearance store normally does have an adequate amount of stock and sizes (going by my experience with their shoe and tie sales).

Thanks for the advice. Will get my backside down to DFO Moorabbin tomorrow and see how I go. Cheers.

        Agreed.
The Retail Concept Stores have little space for a good range, but the Clearance stores (DFOs & regional centres) generally have a large selection of styles/sizes. It's still a good idea to "get in quick" for popular sales though.

The suit deal they had a while ago was sold out at the werribee rivers in a few hours on the first day.

There's bound to be more shirts then suits though so you may have more luck, probably not worth bothering after first day of sale though.

River sales are usually also available from their online store so you're more likely to get your size/style there. You can return any purchase you're not happy with to the retail store for exchange/credit (not sure about refund). There's a small flat rate delivery charge. If you buy multiples, it's worth it.
