  • Have been lookin to get this game for a while but didnt want to pay $100+, this is great thanx alot!

    • my pleasure :)

  • Agree, until recently this one has been $109 at EB, this is a great price for this game.

  • cant u take this to kmart and get a 15% pricematch? so that makes it 33.96

    • Kmart doesn't do that anymore (at least according to their website) but they will match the price. The only time I bother with Kmart is if I want to use a Flybuys card and the store I'm matching doesn't take them. If you get EB to match, you get a 7 day return policy, just in case you don't like the game.

      • oh ok, didnt know kmart stopped doing that
anyway awesome im heading off to parra westfield tomoz anyway i think ill drop of at EB and get this

  • Top deal. I recommend you go to EBGAMES for a price match if you have one closer. I said target were doing 39 because its going on platinum soon, but they gave it to me for $35 without even ringing to check. Brand new sealed copy with a 105 price tag.

  • went it to jb, saw it for $44, was going to ask for the price match, but they had two copies pre owned for $34. Grabbed it! (Brighton VIC) Thanks OP!

  • Saw this in Target today. I think the reason for the drastic price reduction is this is now a Platinum title. They only had the Platinum version in stock at my store, no regular version to be seen.

  • Damn, I paid $65 for this game just over a month ago. I did not enjoy it nearly as much as I expected, although I think I would have given it more of a chance, had I not played the superior(IMO) game Prototype first. Apart from the silver casing, is there any other difference with Platinum games?

  • You seriously thought Prototype was better than Infamous?? :) I wouldn't even put them on the same scale.

    • Neither would I. Haha. But yeah I just found Prototype to be so much more of a fun game, the feeling of power and flexibility in attacks was much greater. I don't like how tedious it is to travel around in Infamous, compared to Prototype, and the world seems a lot more alive in Prototype, where in Infamous it feels very dark and dull(even after powering areas).

      • +1

        i agree with happykamper

i've reviewed both games and prototype comes out on top by a small margin.
infamous does a great job of making the world look depressing and dreary, perhaps too well.

not to mention, walking around in infamous is an absolute drag!
i dont think i would of finished the game if i didnt have to write a review for it.

        • Hmm, okay you guys have a point, I do get a bit tired of the old post-apocalyptic look. Prototype had trees! Kinda rare in non-uncharted games nowadays…

          • @carlscott1982: i'm currently reviewing ratchet and clank (a crack in time) which is alright

tools of destruction seems more fun though. you can probably get it for just under $50 since its now platinum
