Been running around looking at a decently priced student desks with draws and a hutch. Was looking at officeworks and hn, but hn don't have many and officeworks stopped carrying the one I wanted…

Better off buying second hand- check Gumtree and ebay.

Yeah I got a gallant desk for $20 thanks to GT. Buying it new would have cost me more than 10x that.
Gumtree - bought 2 good quality wooden desks last year for $40-$50 each

If it HAS to be new IKEA has basic tabletops from about $40 or $50 and legs for $10-$15 a piece. This way you can choose a length that suits you. I went this route as I wanted a 2m desk and there aren't a lot of premade options at this length. Good luck!
