Kingsman and Run all night highly recommended :D

Kingsman was bloody brilliant. The Church scene gets an 11/10 from me. One of the best bits of cinema I have seen for a long time.

    • Kingsman was amazing! I was dissapointed by Run All Night, though.

    • +1

Yeah I was surprised how loved Kingsman is. I really hated it.

Me too! Run all night wasn't bad though.

Your taste is good so far I'll check it out.

  • Which states?

Still annoys me that the online processing fee is higher for good class. It's not like it's harder to process!

Not like any amount for any ticket is justifiable.

My wife and I were given a $50 Gold Class movie card for Christmas and were hoping to use it with this offer so we don't have to pay extra, but unfortunately the movie we want to see isn't on at a convenient time for us both. Does anybody know if a Gold Class card can be used to purchase standard tickets?

For us both to see a Gold Class session together at standard prices, we'd have to pay an extra $30 plus booking fee if we book online. All for the privilege of being able to listen to other people talk to waiters while ordering overpriced food and alcohol during the movie, which doesn't sound like much fun. I had a look at their food menu, I don't even know what half the stuff is. What the heck is a 'slider'? It sounds like something you'd take before a colonoscopy.

As far as I know it's the same as the event Giftcard. I hope so i was given a $200 one and was hoping to use it for the Telstra Tickets.
I'm the same, I don't want listen to people eat while a movie is on, (and I don't want to eat strange food in the dark).

Do event cinemas include Village Cinemas? Owned by the same people, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be accepted?

Gift cards aren't accepted at Village according to Event's website. Oh well.

  • A slider is a small fancy burger…

And Sliders is an awesome 90s sci-fi show.

What if you could travel to a thousand different worlds?

    • Is the burger cooked in so much oil that it slides out the other end easily after you eat it, or do they just add a laxative sauce? It doesn't sound like something I want to eat.

Went to Gold Class few months ago and some feral mother let her kids run up and down the isles and climb all over empty seats for the entire movie.

Can't there be one place where useless parents and their dipshit kids are banned. Must everything be "family friendly".

    • I was stuck in hospital for a week once and a particular mother brought her kids around two or three times to visit a relative, and she actively encouraged them to have screaming competitions, and gave chocolates to the one who could scream loudest. She told off the nurses after a couple of them asked her to quiet down her kids or leave. If they tried that sort of thing in a library I'm guessing police would have shown up to have them removed, but apparently it's allowed in hospital.

Call button, tell the nurse. Nurses dont take shit from anyone, except when its literal shit cause its their job, but they'll tear shreds off someone disturbing patients.

  • tried booking Insurgent and got $30 at Innaloo, WA (oh and +$3.25 b/fee!)
