Amazon Is There a Referral Code in This URL Please?

This looks like it contains a referral code to me, but the poster has said that it doesn't ….. any clarification please? I don't really know a lot about how amazon works.

    Are you suspecting "ref=sr_1_4" is a referral code? That's an Amazon internal referral parameter.

    Roughly breaking down the URL, it looks like the poster

    • searched Amazon for "leather punch tool" ( keywords=leather+punch+tool ),
    • then chose the 4th item in the search results ( ref=sr_1_4 )

    Most of that URL is unnecessary internal Amazon stuff, tracking how the user got to that item.

    The only important part for sharing is the item code, eg:
    http://amzn.com/B00CE5X50G
