Chest Freezer Recommendations Please

Does anyone own a chest freezer that they would or would not recommend? I need to buy in the next couple of days so it has to be locally available.

We only need a small one, but it must be reliable, energy efficient and quiet. Quality is more important than price, as we're totally over appliances that die just outside warranty period. Not interested in F&P as we've had too many lemons from them. We'd decided to get the Westinghouse 150l, but from what I'm reading online, it is apparently quite noisy.

Given that it won't be running all the time, is there anything in particular that we need to consider?

i've got a 510 litre f&p. it's been running without any problems for the past 10 years. however, it is simply too big and takes up too much space, even though it is constantly full. it has migrated from various positions over the years such as the kitchen, laundry and back verandah. if i bought again i think i'd go for 1/2 that size.

if money is no issue, i think a frost free one would be better. getting rid of ice build-up is a pain and a lot of the frozen food picks up icicles.
